Amundön is an island located south of Gothenburgh between Askim and Billdal
Drive south from the city on Dag Hammarsköldsleden. When you have passed Järbrottsmotet, you continue south on road 158. Pass the urban Askim and turn right at the signpost "Billdal"
If you go by bus, use line 58 or 82 (look for the time table at Tidpunkten)
After a few hundred meters, there is a road to the right, signposted "Brottärr , Amundön". The road is twisted and leads to the shore, to a small marina and boat slip. Turn left and you will find a large car park (fee is between SEK 10 and 30 per day). Do not enter Lilla Amundön which is private property.
At the southern end of the car park there is a red house with a toilet and an information board. A small bridge leads to Amundön (the bigger island).
The simplest way is to follow the path to the right next to the bridge. The path leads over a field and through some trees, past a shore for clothed people. Continue until you reach a staircase that leads up on the cliffs. Continue. Soon you will be able to read the sign "Fribad" painted on the cliffs. People are mostly dressed here but there is nothing that prevents people from being naked. The nude beach is just outside the area classified as "Fribad".
Continue along the shore until you see the sign "nakenbad" painted on the cliff. Now you are there. The Nude beach is large. See the map with the red borders.
Most people stay at the peninsula "Drags Näsa" and the bay next to it as this is the best place to enter the water.
This is a marvellous place to watch the sunset a warm sunny day!
There is a toilet at the bay. People using this place keep it tidy and neat. It is also aplace where it ai easy to getting to know people. There are several people who come here frequently.
