Brunnsviken is a spontaneous nude beach located close by the Botanical Institution at the University, north of Stockholm. It is a rocky terraced beach. Take the subway or the Roslagsbanan or the bus from Odenplan to the University. Pass the textile beach to the northern, rocky point. 5 - 10 min walk. Study the map on page 25 F4 in the phone directory. It is possible to park about 200 meters from the beach (if lucky). There are no conveniences like fresh water, dustbins or toilets at the beach. The beach is not suited for small children. GPS location N 59.3630  E 18.0472

I visited this place once and it was nice with the smooth rocks and all but filled with men, not a single woman. There were also two men having sex in the middle of it all. Nothing wrong with that of course but I wondered if I had missed some info about this being an only-men spot? What other spot can you recommend for me that is mixed or for women? Xx

Besök gärna Ågestabadet som är närmast (sett från Brunnsviken) och enkelt att åka buss, pendeltåg/t-bana Farsta strand, bil, cykel eller gå till. Familjevänligt, stor sand- och grässtrand. Dusch. Ibland kafé och bastu. Eller Tullan mellan Salem och Södertälje, kräver bil (7 tim parkering) eller cykel/moped, och har inga faciliteter och är ett klippbad (mindre barnvänligt alltså). Varmt välkommen som kvinna till de här två baden!

Nice quiet spot. Warm rocks to lie on and an easy access point to the (pleasantly warm) water over flat stones. Easy to find - a big outcrop of very smooth rock close to the footpath along the lake side, around 300m from the Naturhus of the Botanic Gardens.
