This official free beach is located in a public recreational area on an island in the harbour of Oslo.
Naturism is allowed in the southern part of the island. Camping with tent is allowed for two days at a modest fee.
The island can be reached by passenger ferry B2 Langøyene from the harbour in front of the Oslo town hall. Since it may be difficult to find a parking place, it is better to take a bus or a tram to Rådhusplassen. The same ticket is valid on the bus and tram as well as on the ferry. See www.ruter.no for information about the timetable. It takes about 10 minutes to cross the island from the ferry to the free beach.
Rock beach not well suited for small children. Conveniences provided: Toilet, dustbin and drinking water are available at the nearby textile beach.
