Three days after I moved into my new dwelling, I purchased a robotic vacuum cleaner. This home has rather more rug than my earlier home, and I need to maintain it nice. I'm thrilled with what a superb job it does and how easy it makes vacuuming my rugs. It's just under 3" excessive, so it vacuums below my bed and dwelling room chair. I do not do your entire house in a single shot, but divide my residence into two sections. I take less than 1 minute to choose up sufficient to make an space able to vacuum. Then I just click the auto button. It vacuums properly and returns to its charging station to recuperate when performed. It's moderately quiet, so I can work whereas it is vacuuming.
