I think everything posted made a lot of sense. However, what about this? suppose you added a little information? I am not saying your information is not good, but suppose you added a title to possibly grab a person's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda vanilla. You might peek at Yahoo's home page and see how they create article titles to grab people interested. You might add a video or a picture or two to grab readers excited about everything've written. In my opinion, it could make your posts a little livelier.
