The Ågesta Naturist Beach is located on a southern tip of Lake Magelungen in Ågesta, in the municipality of Huddinge. This beach is run by the Sports Administration of Stockholm City Council in cooperation with Eos Naturist Association. It is the only one of its kind in the Stockholm Region and naturists from abroad or living in Stockholm, including the whole of Central Sweden, are frequent visitors.
The Sports Administration is responsible for basic infrastructure and heavier operation and maintenance while Nf Eos is responsible for daily operations and activities. The beach is usually opened for the season in the early or mid of May and closes in the mid or late September. The beach has a children-friendly sandy shore line with some swings close by and a bathing pier with a ladder for those who want to go straight into deep water. A bit out the Nf Eos bathing platform is anchored for those who want a goal with their swimming trip. Close to the sandy beach is a large lawn, which is often visited by hundreds of sun loving naturists. To the side of the lawn there is a fixed grill, a Boule strip, a cold water shower and a drinking water tap. Other amenities include a range of tables with fixed benches, toilets (bajamajor) and trash cans.
Just when you get down to the lawn there is a bicycle parking to the right where bicycles are to be parked.
Bicycles must not be out on the lawn or on the sandfy beach.
Dogs and other small pets should be kept on a leach at all times within the area and may then be taken on to the lawn. Animals may not be staying on the sandy beach or in the adjacent water. A bit north (to the left) of the beach there is a possibility for swiming or bathing animals.
On the benches and in the swings you have to use a towel or some other means of seat protection.
The beach is open for everyone to visit, but we have a golden rule.
By entering this area, you agree to obey this rule, as you are requested to maintain its character as a uniquely Naturist oasis, by stripping off ALL your clothes when visiting. Sun hat and footware are accepted.
If you dislike this basic idea of the beach, please turn to other beaches within close range.
