About us

Isefjærleiren is owned and is operated by Norwegian naturists and naturist organisations. The camp was bought in 1996 to be used as a holiday resort for Norwegian and foreign naturists. Since then the place has been through a slow but big change. From being an abandoned, worn down and overgrown, British Army “Outward Bound” Camp, it has been turned into today’s appealing and idyllic seafront holiday resort, in beautiful, natural surroundings.

The administration, operation and maintenance of the place is mainly taken care of by voluntary idealists without any form of compensation. These turn in hundreds of unpaid hours every year to keep the camp available to holiday makers in Norway. The camp has gradually also become known among naturists outside Norway. In recent years we have seen an increase in the number of guests from several European countries, in addition to Norwegian guests.
